Under normal circumstances, Jessica Jolly is what a lot of people would call the quintessential “popular girl”. She’s charismatic and outgoing as hell, posh but not spoiled, conventionally attractive, and always graduates at the top of her class. These qualities would typically entitle Jessica to a life of tremendous opportunities. Unfortunately, she was born an Electi.

Forced to go through life with a deformed arm capable of producing noxious bile, Jessica was often starved of some much needed love and attention. While she could always count on her parents for their compassion and approval, those at school or on the playground never afforded her such benefits. At best, she was ignored or brushed aside whenever she tried to make friends with her classmates. At worst, she was discriminated against. More often than not, the abuse was verbal, but in a few instances things became physical. It often left her wondering what she had done wrong, and why this was even happening to her in the first place. Seriously, what did she do to deserve this?

As she steps foot into the halls of the illustrious Electi Rehabilitation Academy, she hopes to turn over a new leaf in life, one surrounded by those with experiences similar to hers.

Jessica’s appearance is like that of a preppy college student. During class hours, she’ll typically be seen in the rarely worn ERA student uniform. Outside of school, she’s always dressed in accordance with the latest fashion trends. Her head is adorned with curly ginger hair that is more often than not pulled back into a ponytail, and her face is dotted with freckles. Where her right arm should be is, instead, the stuff of nightmares.

As Jessica grew up, her right arm meticulously morphed and expanded into a claw-like appendage. The “Hand Cannon”, as coined by Jessica, allows the girl to produce a mysterious, goopy black substance comparable to bile produced by the gallbladder. Jessica is able to expel this fluid via a large slit in what can be considered the “palm” of her hand. This monstrous limb cannot be amputated due to the existence of many major arteries running through it.
